My application to be an exhibitor at "Artexpo New York 2023" has been accepted. As the world's largest fine art trade event, it has been held for a very long time. Given that Artexpo NY is home to hundreds of prestigious galleries, contemporary artists, and prominent global collectors, this will mark a significant moment in my artistic career.

Artexpo New York brings together the largest international gathering of qualified trade buyers—including gallery owners and managers, art dealers, interior designers, architects, corporate art buyers, and art and framing retailers. The curated expo brings more than 200 of the world’s leading publishers, galleries, and collectors face-to-face with hundreds of established and emerging artists from across the globe. More than 20,000 avid art enthusiasts attend each year to enjoy exciting and original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, and glass works – all under one roof and within 70,000 square feet of uninterrupted convention space at Pier 36. Running alongside the world’s original fine art trade show is [SOLO] highlighting established, independently established, and emerging artists. Artexpo New York also features its annual lineup of interactive and educational programming, including Art Labs, the Spotlight Program, and the Art Talks Program.

Artexpo NY is the perfect event to showcase my creations to the world and meet internationally recognized leading Galleries and well-known Art collectors. Participation in this prominent event is extremely beneficial to my art journey and furthermore, it creates an enormous opportunity to help emerging artists of Sri Lanka. I have already provided training for a student of the Visual Arts, Design, and Performing Arts Unit, according to the request made by the Department of Fine Arts, University of Kelaniya. With the Artexpo NY experiences, I will be able to help emerging artists continue their journey as full-time artists. There is an issue that most of the local emerging artists are facing difficulty in making money from their Art, that is the significant reason that most art bachelors are unable to continue their journey as professional artists. Once I reach my goal with your support I am able to guide them to find the proper marketplace for their awesome works.

To secure the exhibition space, it will be cost USD.4,190. Exhibitor Accounts Manager informed me to only six spaces available for the event and at least before end of November I need to book the space. I would be extremely grateful if you could support me in securing an exhibiting space at Artexpo New York. The total estimated budget for the entire event would be LKR. 4,959,310.00, As a first step, I expect your kind contribution for exhibition space fee of LKR. 1,537,730.00 which is an urgent requirement. If a sponsor offers sponsorship for the exhibition space fee, Kindly provide me with, Artwork of the banner and its dimensions to get the approval from the Artexpo NY committee to display sponsor’s banner in the event.

Hello Friends,

I am a self-taught visual artist Dananjaya Edirisinghe.

Since I've always been passionate about art, I've been pushing my own creative boundaries every day in an effort to learn new things. Although I was exposed to the metal bashing sound throughout my childhood, it has only been in the last five years that my professional relationship with sculptures has really taken off. As a visual artist, I have participated in a number of national and international exhibitions.

The largest open-air art fair in Sri Lanka, "Kalapola," which is organized by the John Keells Foundation and George Keyt Foundation, was where I debuted my art for the very first time in 2018. My participation as a sculpture artist in the "World Youth Forum-Egypt" has been my finest achievement thus far in this journey.
