Hello Everyone, My name is Semal Luthra. The Inner Reset is a 3 phase project to empower women in South Asia to create change in their lives from the inside, out!

So what do I mean by that?

We are more afraid, more anxious, and less confident than ever before! I feel like the core of all these issues is a disconnection with our authentic selves. What I want to create through this program is an Inner Reset, to Reset your connection with yourself and the world around you, so that instead of feeling like we are victims of the external reality, we can use those very same experiences to transform ourselves from the inside out. Now I know this might sound quite hard, maybe even wishful thinking, and so in this talk show, I have intimate conversations with those who have risen from the depths of despair, addiction, and trauma to rebuild their life from the inside out.

Reinventing News and Media to become positive forces of change

We suffer as a society when we are constantly bombarded by news centered around what we need to fear and who we need to blame. These stories light up the pathway to healing and show people there is a better way to face and overcome the challenges of their life. Instead of being a victim of circumstances, these stories show how those very same challenges can become catalysts for their evolution into a truer, more authentic version of themselves.

Phase 1 is a talk show urging us to rethink the big questions about life, growth, success, fulfillment, and connection in a post-pandemic world. Season 1 will feature bold conversations with 6 popular changemakers from Sri Lanka and beyond, who will share the intimate side of their journey of Inner Transformation, how they overcame their internal struggles to fall into alignment with themselves, and find the courage to Show Up in the world from a deep space of knowing who they are. The main objective of the show is to bring real-life examples of inner transformation to spur you on your inner transformation journey.

Phase 2 is a platform to share online and offline transformational experiences comprising workshops, healing circles, and creative work sprints. It brings to South Asia a unique opportunity to undergo their own inner reset journey, which is not only limited to their inner transformation but also takes it further by guiding women and youth on how they can forge a career based on their unique strengths, while also building the resilience to thrive in a constantly changing external environment.

Phase 3 will create social change in the way we work together, by enabling creatives, freelancers, and entrepreneurs to work together on projects they believe in. Here, we aim to build a community platform that facilitates co-creation as the new way of working - a new world without big hierarchies, but where most people are freelancers or temporary employees. People come together to build a project and then disperse. Here we will follow the framework developed by MIT Boston to enable societal transformation in the way we learn, create and grow together. This can unlock the potential of young people working together to build a better future, driven by passion, curiosity, and courage.

It is easy to fall into despair and hopelessness, especially now, when the world around us seems to be falling apart. But that is why it is so crucial to start looking at life from a new pair of glasses. What if life actually worked for us instead of against us? What if every challenge we face is only trying to teach us something, something that we are too ignorant to see? What if the key to our greatness lies amidst our deepest fears?

Through this project, I want to inspire South Asian Youth to rethink these big questions about life, which lie underneath our beliefs, and how we Show Up in the world.

Help us inspire South Asian Youth to rethink these big questions about life, which lie underneath our beliefs and how we Show Up in the world.

Our target is to raise Rs.884,000 in 3 months which will help us to accelerate our journey by spreading the awareness of topics such as healing, trauma and inner transformation to the people in need of emotional support. The funding that you donate to The Inner Reset Talkshow will be used for paid media so that a survivor’s voice is heard. Alongside this, we will host regular online events for viewers to bring their own experiences to the table and work towards healing them.

This transformational podcast is powered by HomeTree Coworking, a Coworking space co-founded by me, Semal Bodh Mastani.

HomeTree is SL’s first coworking space dedicated to mindfulness at work. Through HomeTree, I brought to life a personal mission of blending consciousness into the way we work. Hi, I am Semal Bodh Mastani! I am an entrepreneur, passionate about bringing consciousness into how we work. I have lived and worked in the US, UK, India and moved to Sri Lanka in 2018.

Prior to moving to Sri Lanka, I worked as a customer insight and product management consultant at companies including Deloitte UK, dunnhumby UK, Adobe USA, and IBM UK. In 2016, I moved to USA to complete an MBA degree at the Yale School of Management.

I am currently the co-founder of HomeTree Coworking, my first entrepreneurial venture which I started in 2018. Through HomeTree, I have been able to bring to life a lifelong dream of blending mindfulness into the way we work. The benefits of this approach are many: from improving Mental Health to increasing Productivity and Impact and most importantly creating a ripple effect in local communities. Right from the use of color therapy to design the workspaces, to the launch of iThrive, a personal development lab at HomeTree, our goal has always been the same - To Build a Conscious Community of Co-Creators.

The biggest blessing and the anchor that has helped me through all the ups and downs of life, has been a deep study and practice in Mindfulness and Personal Transformation. I have come to realize that every achievement, the ability to withstand every challenge, the confidence to adapt to new situations really boils down to the relationship which you have with yourself.

And so my passion really is to talk about career growth, alongside personal growth. Outer success alongside inner exploration. Outer achievement alongside inner purpose. This passion is rooted deeply in the workshops and coaching programs I provide.

My journey has been built on two pillars of strength:
1. A passion to work and make a difference
2. An inner anchoring through mindfulness and spirituality
